It's just plain hard to justify $30k for the new Accord when you get get a CPO last generation with 20-30k miles for $18-20k. The 8th gen is just not a significant improvement over the 7th gen.

again, with the Accord, you're getting more than just speed.

Compare the interiors (08 Accord vs 08 3-Speed) and there's no competition. The ergonomics, feel, couture, and luxury are all there.

If you want to go fast in a straight line, yay for 3-speed.
If you want something that'll make you feel grown up, 08 Accord.

I agree completely. When deciding on a car, I always have 2 picks. Currently, and idealistically, I would like either the Audi A4 or the Mazdaspeed3.

The A4 for the feel of luxury, comfort, success, and adult-hood.
The speed3 for the feel of speed, run, race, and youth.

I'm 21, but going to law-school soon. So my life in REALLY in between those.

Same should apply to anyone's decision of a car.

i use to work for a window tint shop and we did Mazda dealer's tint.
my job was to drive cars from dealerships to the shop.
i drove each and everyone of speed3s they had there and it was blast.
lol, and i use to tear them apart and by the time i get to the shop I had to leave the car outside for like an hour until the burning smell went away.

i actually had more fun driving the speed3s then the rx8s

I love the MS3, I'd get one in a heartbeat.

If you want a balance between that and an Accord, what about a used E46 BMW 3-series? You can get a medium mileage M3 for less than $30k and a low mileage 330Ci for $20-25k.

Honda's hold there resale value great, and due to these gas prices people are wanting imports. but to me its not worth it. new cars arent the way to go if ur trying to add shit go with a used 2000 to 2007 you will save money and u can put that saved money into performance parts.
