thats what i thought i needed to do but the only place i found that can build one for me was going to cost me $550. i was just wondering if anyone knew of a good place thats not as expensive

500 for 200 amp alt is kinda expensive. Hav eoyu thought about running a dual alt setup?

no i havent thought about that yet. my only problem is that i'm not too good with mechanics easy and things like that just customization so how easy is it to do

may i ask what you are running amp, speaker, subs, caps? and do you have any xtra electrical components on the car such as neon, leds, flashing lights ??

i have 2 12" cvx subs(750 rms each) zx1500 mono amp(1500wats rms) polk momo front and back(125rms each pair) zx650 4 channel(140 wats rms by 4 ch) thats it for now but when income tax comes in i will have hid and neon inside and out

yea... you need an upgraded alternator.

the 5 farad cap is useless since the alt. cannot charge it fast enough.
