Default Toggle Switch wiring help

The power seat switch in my car has broken and I have decided to hook it up to a toggle switch for now. There are 4 wires going to the original switch. They are:: red[pos],black[neg],yellow[?],yellow/green stripe[?]
I bought a toggle switch that is ; on/off/on and is temporary which ,of course, means it goes back to OFF when the switch is released. The toggle is not marked by anything other than numbers .1 through 6.Does anyone know how to wire this up or a website to help me.The toggle as I said, has 6 prongs and I need for it to reverse polarity as to go forward and back with this one switch
Thanks in advance

what are you wiring?

toggle switches for most applications are 2 pronged ... maybe 3 if you got fancy and purchased the LED "on" version.

reverse polarity is a 5 wire system. using postive to move a motor back or forward. you double posted this thread btw. as i mentioned check back on the12volt because i am an idiot took the time to draw you out the schematic diagram that you need to complete your power seats.
