Default 1992 accord wiper arms

hey all,

the wiper arms on my 92 are starting to fade to silver from the original black and i was just wondering if rather than repainting them myself or replacing them with another 92's, i could possibly replace them with a newer model's wiper arms, and if possible, what year would you recommend; it's rather hard finding the wiper arms for a 92 in good condition.

thanks in advance.

, just sand it down and repaint them and put a clear coat on em. and get those new wiper blades that are like 20 bucks each, they work and look great. i've got em on my car and love em.

yea, i've considered repainting them myself but thats almost the last option i would like to do... what i am really interested in knowing is if it is possible to use for example a 2000 accord's wiper arms on my 1992 accord. thanks for your suggestion anyway, i'll probably change my wiper blades when it starts raining a bit more.

I think the wiper arms from 2000 are much longer than the 92 arms. You'll have to stick with the same generation. What's 4th-gen, '88-'92 or something like that??

hmmm so even if they are longer, i can't just improvise with shorter blades? by the way 4th gen is 90 - 93.

Had the same issue with my 91. Sanded em down, sprayed em with a can of Rustoleum I alreay had and they look fine. Cost $0, Time 30 minutes.
