Default 04 honda battery

My car battery died out on me . I am very surprised that it did. It costs 130 at the dealership. I got it changed at the dealership and was told it had no warranty . The fall out of the new battery led to the cabin lights glowing much brighter than when I bought the car new in 04. Today mr driver door stopped responding to the remote. It does not work except when manually operated.

I have a feeling it is all related. I donno what to do . I am scared that the new battery will start frying out all the electronics in the car.

Any advice ?

my remote wasn't working when the battery was low on charge. and after i ran it for an hour adn the battery was charged pretty good, the remote starting working again.

it could be ur altenator going out, but it shouldn't so fast.
go to autozone and get it checked for free

My 2000 Accord Ex battery lasted eight years. I replaced a week ago because it was cold out there and the battery did not appear as strong as it was so I bought a new Duralast gold from autozone for 79.99 and installed myself. I suspect that you have electrical problem some where (leaking, alternator, etc.).
