Default 1988 honda accord question

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have a 1988 honda accord lxi it has around 229,000 miles on it and clutch might have around 35,000 miles on it or so something like that. I know when you get in it in the morning the clutch is tight and once I drive it for a bit it starts getting not as stiff. THen if I let it sit for like 3o r 4 hrs someting like that it get stiff again. When it tighter it shifts better. WHat is the problem? Has anyone ran in to the same problem? Is it a major problem? how hard is it to fix this problem?
I need some help quick please thanks

Check the fluid level under the hood for the clutch it could be dirty on have some sludge in it causing this to happen. I also ahve an 88 LXI with 280K on it.

there's a reservoir for the fluid. i think in ur car, its on the passenger side firewall.
if ur having a hard time finding it, then check the fluid level in all teh reservoirs u see.

it looks like the reservoir for the brakefluid, but its much smaller.
