i cant decide

i have a 99 EX coupe V6. it currently has stock wheels.

i am upgrading to 18s and they will be 18X7.5 5-114.3 45c with 225/45R18

will a 45 offset work on my car?

It should work, but if you're dropped, the tire may rub.
The correct tire size should be 215/45/18 or 225/40/18

are you sure its not 225/45/18 cuz all the calcs that i look at say that is closest to the stock 205/60/16.

205/60/16
215/50/17
225/40/18

I believe thats correct
but not 100% sure though

If you're going with an 18" wheel 225 40 18 would be the correct tire size not 225 45 18 that size will definately rub if you want to have a 45 series side wall you will have to move down to a 17" wheel hope this helps you.
