Default 06 Accord V6 overheated engine

Hi ! need an advise please. My car's engine has been overheated because of the coolant leak. The lower radiator hose wasn't connected properly (I recently visited mechanic ) and it's got unplugged while I was driving. I noticed that the temperature is rising and engine light poped up, so I stopped. Plugged hose, fill coolant. How harmful this for the engine ? What can I check now to make sure it's functioning properly ?

the hose should not have came off in the first place,

u'll lose power if ur motor heats up and warps the heads.

did that needle hit the red spot? and if yes how long did it stayed there?

and yes you should take the car to the dealer since is pretty much brand new and they should check it for free

i had a minor accident and decided to fix car at my own expense, so I took it to garage and not a dealer. I used to repair my old 98 accord there. They didn't plug hose properly, so after 1 week it came off and it ran out of coolant. Not sure for how long needle stayed at the red spot, I noticed it after 20 min of driviving and once I noticed at the same time engine light turned on. I'll take it to dealer now for check up. Thanks !

Did the engine bog down/cut off?

If you shut it off before any of these, you might be alright....but next time when you get in an accident turn it into insurance
