Default Euro Tail Light Installation Question

I recently purchased these type of lights and I have installed them.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ksid=p3907.m29

(this picture is of a 4DR but mine is a 2DR, but their very similar

I don't know what the plugs are for you see in the picture? It doesn't fit to any of my connectors on my 03 honda. I took out the OEM bulbs and installed in their fitments on the tail lights, but my tail lights barely show at night and it doesn't even show during the day. I have ordered some new led bulbs but for the mean time I installed some ghetto red bulbs from auto zone.

Is it the bulbs that are too weak or is it that I'm suppose to plug that thing somewhere I'm not aware of? I'm using 7443 red bulbs 12v/5w , Sorry for the noob question, but I am fairly new to this thing. I appreciate anyone's help, thank you.

That's because they're cheap (and ugly IMO) pieces of crap. I would imagine that the electrical system/circuit board in the taillight is probably poorly designed or the LEDs used are extremely cheap, but it's difficult to tell without actually looking at it. That's about what you should expect for any aftermarket component, though :dunno:

^^ thanks for your opinion.

But again, what are those plug(s) for? Are they there for different year accords? (ie. 04-05?) cause I have an 03.

And what's a good site you can recommend to get head+tail lights? I keep hearing about JDM's.

That plug doesn't connect to anything, I have no 'socket' for it to go into.

Help please?

I have no idea where that hell that's suppose to go? or if it's suppose to, is it for 04-05 honda's? mine is an 03

Do your lights work without that connection?

Yes it's working just fine, it's just not bright enough. you can't even see it during the day, it's pretty dangerous, at night it's vaguely noticeable too. I ordered some new led 7440+7443 red bulbs and I'm hoping that'll work. I don't know, any advice? thank you in advance.

Try the bulbs first...you don't wanna go around messing with wires and end up setting your car on fire

if im visualizing this correctly... the stock lights have 3 bulbs.... brake/tail, turn. and reverse

you have all 3 plugged into the new lights.

remove the one that connects to the brake/tail... remove the bulb, then put that hanging plug into the brake/tail socket.

I have 2 hanging plugs though coming from the euro lights. Where would the other one go? Can it possible that it's just the wrong harness?
