Default driveability problem

I am having a problem with my accord.
2002 Accord LX 2.3 F23A1 72,000 miles

When I accelerate it will surge and seems to lack power.
It does it all the time but gets worse when hot.

Also it has started making a buzzing sound from the rear after it has set for a while. Usually when I shut the trunk or close a door. Sounds like the fuel pump.

I have searched this forum and have found a few suggestions but they are pretty old posts.

Just wondering if anyone might have some new information.

Thanks

Also I have replaced the plugs, plug wires and cap and rotor, with Honda parts.

Being that you mentioned fuel pump and getting hot outside makes it worse, i'm leaning toward pgm-fi relay. Should be located in the same general area for your 02 like in the article.
