Default Lights dimming

I have a 94 Accord EX and this morning I notice that when I press the brakes, the lights for the D4 in the dash, the clock and the climate control dims. It dims like when I turn on my parking lights. But if I accelerates it is fine, but everytime I brake it dimms. Anyone ever experience this?

how old is the battery?
how old is the alternator?

I'd start there first. Sounds like you're not getting enough juice.

Its most likely the alternator rather than the battery. Or there could be alot of restistance were you control the dimmer switch

I pull the battery for a good 5 minutes to get it reset. Still having the problem. This time the car is in park and when I press the brakes, the lights dims. I also hear a click sound under the console everytime I press the brakes (pretty sure it is normal). If I turn the parking lights on and press on the brake the click sound is gone. Also if I take the keys out of the ignition and just press the brakes, I hear the "ding dong" sound (The same sound when you left the parking lights or headlights on).

Why did you do that? That would do absolutely nothing in your case.

Again, sounds like an old battery. Please refer to my questions posted above.

That is normal. That's the shifter release.

I went to autozone and got them to test the alternator and battery both came up with enough voltage. It is wierd, the problem just went away the other day. Everything is working fine as usual. Thanks for all your inputs.
