what the hell does "T-Pain" have to do with anything? The minor, off-topic, side comments really don't add to question at hand.

I order a 12 pack of OEM online to save money. I also order the crush ring which goes with the installation. It protects against leaks.

I usually just get an old Campbell's can stuff some cotton balls in it with some glue so they don't fall out and epoxy it to the block.

Works like a charm!

mobil 1 = champ = no thanks, im not impressed.

i'll stick with WIX filters, hands down the best filter on the market. and if i ever have any problems i can make one call right to their north eastern district rep

there have been oil filter studies posted on the web (u can google for 'em). the common consensus seems to stay away from fram's...and most other ones are decent for normal use. keep in mind also that a lot of filters out there are the same ones with different brand labels on 'em. i believe, if my memory serves me right, the current small honda filters (15400-plm-a02) are actually fram/honeywell filters. so i really dunno what conclusion to draw from that

yea, honda went through a couple of manufacturer's. i believe the older ones were from nippon, than fram and now i kinda forgot.
