there have been oil filter studies posted on the web (u can google for 'em). the common consensus seems to stay away from fram's...and most other ones are decent for normal use. keep in mind also that a lot of filters out there are the same ones with different brand labels on 'em. i believe, if my memory serves me right, the current small honda filters (15400-plm-a02) are actually fram/honeywell filters. so i really dunno what conclusion to draw from that
