Default Accord 1998: VIN stickers ??? Please help!

I'm looking for a used Accord 98. We found one and the car look in good shape. But there is no VIN sticker at all in the door, hood, trunk, etc... My 01 accord and other Honda have those sticker all around!...... is this normal or it sound like a boxed car? (stolen or rebuilt)

Help will be appreciated. Thanks!

Usually if thy are missing it means the car has been painted or the parts replaced. Has it been in a wreck? Did you have it looked over? Thy have pre perches inspection at the dealer or about any other auto shop. You may want them just to check the alignment too. This will help tell if it has been in a wreck.

check the sticker on the driver's side dash... near the vents under the windshield.

I think the car as been hit in the front. there is some pitch (don't look like original) around shock cage.... the head light (original...) look like new. the rad, hose in the front look new too. but it's all genuine Honda parts. the car has 180 000 K. The paint is genuine even in the door interior.. but no vin sticker at all.

And do you know if Honda use special rivets to hold the ser. number plate or if it's normal rivets?

forget all taht. open ur hood, look at ur fuse box, then look at the wall behind it and look to the right. the original vin number of the car should be right there. if its not there, then the car has to be stolen. i'd call the cops on their ass.

Does CarFax work in Canada? Check that out for the car's history.

Maybe damage that extensive so many body panels have been replaced? If so, maybe it has a salvage title? That may make it difficult to get insurance?
