Had problems insalling intake on my Accord.

I purchased that intake for my 95 Accord DX. I haden't realy taken a good look at the stock intake before, and when I took it apart to instal the new one I was shocked to see there were two parts of it. The bottom part of it has oil in it, and piping leads to the valve covers. The intake that I bought of Ebay only has one part, and no way to conect or bypass the bottom part of it. I am sure you guys know what I am talking about. What can I do about this? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

Nobody on here has installed a intake on their Accord? Comon guys..I know atleast some of you need to know what to do about this. I e-mailed the guy that I bought this from and he said he is sorry that he doesn't have instructions and to just search for on yaho.com..He didn't say what to do about the lower part of hte intake that has oil it though.
I don't think what u mean to say is that it goes back to the valve cover... The second part (called the resonator) goes down behind the bumper on the right side of the car. to get that out, you either:
1. jack up the car and take out some of the retaining clips on that right side of the bumper to get to the nut that holds up that resonator.
2. take off the front bumper (or at least that right side) to get to the nut that holds it up.
I used the first method. Once you get that out installation of the new intake should be simple. There are some that go down into that hole that is left by the resonator, and some that sit right over it. Installation of both is different. Good luck

just plug it in in the same way your stock intake was plugged in. so now plug it into those holes in your new intake... but then again im not sure i understand the problem... is the intake installed? does it work? are you just trying to connect tubes?

ehh.... doesnt sound like a problem. oil probably got into your intake tube from the valve cover breather. no biggie. there might have been too much oil in the motor, or you might have been driving really hard, causing oil to go throught the breather tube. thats why u see those oil catch-cans on n1 racing cars
keep the tubing that goes to the fuel rail and just get a breather filter for the valve cover. you should have been given a little plastic thing to plug up a side of a sensor where that vaccum hose was supposed to go.
