My car started and then died. It sounded like it wasn't getting any gas. Then I started it and reved it and it stayed on and I drove it home. In the morning I tryed to start it and it only turned over and wouldnt fire. Can some please help I just bought this car 2 months ago. Im thinken mabye a fuel pump or filter but I'm not a mechanic. Oh yeah I should mention I ran very low on gas. I tryed adding a little more but still nothing. Its a 94 integra 2dr ls. Thanks

Since it's an Integra, you may want to try posting in the Integra forum...

Check whether you have spark (when it fails).

Ok thanx. How do you check for the spark? The spark plug cables are kinda deep in the engine.

what i do is pull a plug wire off of the distributor and place it on a metal surface like the metal outlet at the upper radiator hose. i place a flat head screw driver into the plug then let the screw driver go. have someone turn the key and watch for electricity travel.

if this is happening in the heat then its probably your main relay under the driver's side dash in an accord. see if when u put the key in the ignition and turn it to the 2nd position when the cluster lights come on and go off listen for the relay to beep 3x. u will hear 2 beeps and then 1. it is what activates the fuel pump it communicates with the ecm.
