Hi, I'm wondering if anybody here knows where I can buy an aftermarket headers for my 2001 4cyl coupe, 5 speed. I've been looking at the internet/ebay and they have a pretty good selection with an excellent price. The thing is I don't want to order online and would like to pick up. I want to replace my header because I'm suspecting that it has leak and makes alot of noise, belts are tight enough so the noise are not from the belt. The sound is a high pitch whistling like noise. Preferably my I want to get the header somewhere in Northern VA or DC. HELP! and Thanks

 

well most car shops dont have these items in stock. If they do its a display one. The majority of muffler manufactors place an online store to order from which may be your best bet. Or you can try PepBoys or AutoZone and pick up one of their crappy mufflers.
Your best bet would be to order it online despite you not wanting to but im not sure of any car shops around that area that sells a good quality header and has it in stock.

 

DO NOT BUY CHEAP HEADER ONLINE

almost all of them will leak. u've gotta be very lucky to find one that will not leak.

the only ones that dont leak are the branded ones like DC and etc.

and DO NOT BUY "PACE SETTERS" they have the worst of all.
