Tail light malfunction
Hi, my wife backed our 2003 Honda Accord DX into a neighbor's parked car. We got the trunk and rear bumper replaced. Now the left and right rear brake lights aren't working.
If we turn on the headlights, both rear tail lights come on. And when we push down the brake, the central rear window brake light comes on. But the brake pedal does not light up the tail lights, or make them brighter if the headlights are on.
All the other lights appear to work. Turn signals, backup lamps, etc.
Does anyone know what could be causing this? Could it be a fuse issue, and if so which fuse would be responsible? Also, is the bulb that comes on when the headlights are on the same bulb that should be coming on with the brake pedal? Is it a double-filament bulb?
Thanks for your help!!
