Default Accord feels sluggish

I own a 1998 4cy 4dr auto. accord and for the past 3 years if feel that some days my car runs so smooth and picks up fast but there is days that it runs sluggish like if feel that i have to punch it more....i have also noticed preformance diffrence at different gas levels...the car seems to pick up faster when the gas level is right before the half way then when is full.... could it be a sensor that is bad that makes the car feel that way???

I'm assuming you have good: plugs (with proper gap), air filter, fuel filter, plug wires (not the brand auto zone sells), brakes aren't dragging. Also if you have a volt meter use it to check that tps to see if there are any dips or irregular readings as you open the throttle. Another thing to check is proper egr valve.

cleaning the egr valve and ports should help a bit. Probably picks up better at half tank then full because you have less fuel and less weight... my accord accelerates nicely at 1/4 tank

your EGR is all gummed up. You might want to have it cleaned out or have a new lift kit installed.

Some honest repair shops have a egr cleaner system. I've never taken it off on my 97 and cleaned out the egr system.

EGR cleaner system  trust me, nothing but actually taking the intake manifold off will clean up the typical gunk that builds up in there after 150 or 200k miles.

The v6's are the ones with the real problems. I'd probably have a shop take a look at your datalist and possibly run some tests on the vehicle, if you are really concerned.
