Fixing Chassis Worth It?
My car was involved in a hit and run a few months ago, and after replacing all the parts it turns out the chassis was slightly bent. (About half to an inch). Is there any point in getting this fixed? What I mean is, will the car be driveable or will it be completely done for and drive crooked.
Anyone ever had this happen to them?
Your help is appreciated.
Thanks.

1/2" is not that big of a deal.
the only thing that it'd do is wear off your left-rear tire a little faster, but if you keep switching it w/ right-rear it would be good. you shouldn't really feel the croocked ness. (like every time you get an oil change, just tell them to switch the back tires)
i'd say its totally worth it. you'll probably pay about 200-300 dollars to get the frame pulled, but its up to you. like i said i wouldn't really care that much about it.

I know it's not gonna be 100%, just was concerned on whether it would be driveable or not. And I don't really have the money to get somethin' else right now. So I guess I'll give it a shot and see how it turns out.
I understand your concern. But If i were you, i would at least give it a try until i am able to get sometihng new. So, try to fix it as much as you can and wait for the better days ...
IMO take it to a body shop with a fram puller and see if they can strighten it out. if you have a buddy who has a paint shop proubably want coast anything. otherwise maby like 200 300 bucks if they charge you more then that id tell em to eat it. the only reason i could see it being higher is if they had to pull your glass."which implies that its alot worse then you think"
yea, I would fix it and no, your car wont be 100% again but if it's done well you'll adjust to all changes and it'll be like nothing ever happend and only your wallet will remember to couple hundred bucks that got away.
I got my accord when the front end was all sorts of smashed and now she's almost 100% again.
