Default car stalls when engine is cool

when i start the car for the first time in the day and drive, it stalls when i hit 2000 rpm. it shifts roughly. after awhile, when the engine is heated up... it drives normally. what is the reason for this?

honda accord 2000 lx 2.3L 4cyl

also, my brake lamp remains on, when i dont have the parking brake up.

It's possible there could be a vaccuum leak somewhere. Do you have a oil/tranny leak? How's the timing belt. I would take it in and get a diagnostic done.

fairly normal for a first drive of the day. my honda does this.

brake lamp light = brake fluid reservoir issue. Take the cap off, clean the underside, and put it back on.

There's a ball bobber that might have gotten jammed up.

It's not normal for your car to stall. That means there is a problem! Why would it be normal for your car to stall? You should take it somewhere to have a diagnostic done.
