it's a negative trigger on hondas (all) sending the positive can damage the alarm module or blow a fuse to the car! the 2k it's a orange wire found on the driver's kick or at the trunk light it connects to the alarms blue wire(trunk/hood) input...it's a option at most chain stores to install because it takes extra time just like to hook up doorlocks and flashing parking lights!

Yeah, its an option on Hondas when you have lazy installers. Parking light input can take positive or negative on DEI alarms and the door locks are negative trigger right next to the kick also. We used to charge an extra 15 minutes to wire relays for reversal. Alarms at chainstores account for 3+ hours of labor. When your dealing with 16-20 wires per alarm, whats 3 more?
