F23a1 Rear Balance Shaft Timing
I am in the middle of a head job on a 98' Accord Ex. The oil pump is also being replaced, and in order to remove it, i had to unbolt and remove the rear balance shaft gear case assy, which houses two mesh gears( the drive gear connected to the belt driven pulley, and the shaft gear, bolted onto the rear balance shaft.) My question is, once the gear case containing the drive gear has been removed, where do you position the rear balance shaft (according to shaft end woodruff key location) in order to ensure the timing marks on the outer belt driven pulley and gear case are accurate? Can anyone help me out?
