Hello everyone, I saw an ad for a 97 4 door accord EX online for sale. I receive some pictures from the owner, but it has the black side molding on the car and hub caps wheels, but it does come with LEATHER interior. I thought EX model comes with the side molding painted and alloy wheels. The owner assure me it is an EX model. I haven't seen the car yet, but I just want to know if there is an EX model with leather interior with black side molding for the 97 model. Thanks.

 

nmm yes. my 96 accord ex is exactly like the 97ex. tan interior cd player all that and in paper it says 96EX-L L for leather ofcourse.
If the car has dual muffler tip then is EX. only EX has dual muffler tip stock.
also, I think only EX came with moonroof and a bunch of other stuff like, power seat.

and oh yeah it does have black side molding and front bumper lip.

 

EX was VTEC and LX was not, no?

Correct. 15hp difference. Same gas mileage. I'd definately shop around for the EX if I were to buy a 5th gen.

 

Ex came with alloy wheels, ABS, 4 wheel disc brakes, SOHC VTEC motor , dual tip exhaust, moonroof, 6 speaker stereo.
