mil flickers no codes
What? I know. Wifes car: 01 accord 2.3 154k. the first time i have drove in weeks, and the mil light flickers on decleration, but not all the time? timing belt replacement @150k along with egr and valve adj. HELP Please
Check fuse #13 in the box near the right-side door hinge. If that fuse is blown, your ECU error codes get cleared every time you turn off the engine.
Otherwise, I'm not really coming up with any good ideas. Does it run OK? Any symptoms at all?

checked #13 fuse-good. maybe i wasn't clear, it is the maint. light that flickers when you slow for a turn or a stop.
today, the engine did stumble at stop sign but no flicker. maybe bad gas, i almost said cheap gas.
the code reader shows no codes or pending codes.
thax for the input jim and jani.

MIL is malfunction indicator lamp. Honda uses that terminology for their 'check-engine' lamp.
Maint.Req. lamp is simply a reminder based on mileage. It has nothing to do with any stored error codes.
Sorry for confusion...
Still, don't know why the maint. lamp should flicker when you turn... Maybe loose wiring in the dash? I think the lamp has power all the time & the ECU closes the gound side of the circuit. That means if a wire is rubbed thru it'll make the lamp come on.
