Default 98 Accord Possible Electrical Problem

I have a 98 Accord V6 Coupe.

Within the last couple of weeks the car has acting very strange. 5 times now, the car has shut itself off and back on while driving. The radio goes off and the gauge panel flashes like it lost power then everything comes back on. Out of the 5 times that this has happened 3 of the times this happened when I hit the brakes. The other 2 times it just happened out of no where. The Alternator was replaced in 04. Any ideas? Thanks.

have you ever checked your grounds? if not you may wont to start there if you think that its electrical that is. also when was the last time that you replaced you plugs, plug wires, destribitor cap, and button?

I haven't checked any grounds except for the one off of the battery and it is secure. Thats what I was thinking intially but I dont really know where the rest of the grounds are located.

I bought the car about 6 months ago and I haven't had to perform much maintenance so I am not sure about the plugs.

I read about the ignition switch recall problem and the symtoms seem very similar so I called the dealership and they said that the recall was already performed on my car. Do you think that it is possible that the same problem happened again?
