Gage swap
Ok so heres the info. i purchased new gage faces.(the cool reverse glow with an adjustable color variant
) so heres my first question. should i pull the entire cluster out to put the new ones on or can i do it just by removing the clear plastic cover thing and pulling the needles off?
ok now part 2 when i got the new face plates i also got a pod cluster that goes in the dash. when i got this i didnt think about the actual install.
h: has anyone ever installed a voltage gage or a oil temp gage? any help would be apperciated.

Do you really drive your car in such extreme conditions that you need an oil temp gauge? Your car will flash a light at you when your voltage is not right...
Anyhow; I would remove the whole thing. Much easier to work at a table, than around a steering wheel.
