header installation
My dc sports stainless steel header for my 94 LX is finally on the way after a disaster with the kamikaze header and their horrible customer service.
My question is: how hard do the bolts get torqued when attaching the header to the engine. I imagine connecting the bottom half of the header and the header to the cat is pretty much just tightening it a reasonable amount. But connecting the flange to the engine, what torque would i need?

your o2 sensor should be on a smaller section of piping and you shouldn't even have to touch it. the header will connect to this piece of piping.

i installed the header on my 94 ex. there is a piece of piping about 3-4 inches long that had the o2 sensor on it. it did not screw into the lower collector piece on the exhaust manifold.

and the LX, which is what this guys is puttin his header on(swoosher21 read this next part), has the resrictive exhaust manifold, which in fact has an O2 sensor in it and will have to be removed and put into his new header.
