you asked which one is best ... oh boy, bring in the fanboys.

It depends what you're looking for though.

2 door? 4 door?
V6?
Leather?
Drive experience?

Most likely 4 door

Doesn't matter on Engine Size

I know the 98-02 models have transmission issues

I like the look of the V6 models with the Triangle Taillights but i don't know what year they are.

Theres some 98-01's around town in my price range, i just wanna make a good decision

I'd go for a 6th gen with the 4cyl manual. It's a bigger car than the 94-97's, truly a "sedan" rather than a "large compact" like previous generation accords (IMO). The engine put's out a bit more too, @ 150hp compared to the 130hp (145hp for the ex) of the 94-97's. Although the larger size probably sucks up the additional horsepower when it comes to raw speed. It depends on what you want though. Both the 5th and 6th are moddable and offer lots of aftermarket stuff. I don't know what these triangle taillights are you speak of though, isn't that the current (8th gen) accords? I doubt you'll get one of those for 8K .

It has to be Auto

It's just gonna be a nice reliable car, no mods

A 2K Accord Sedan I4 auto should be what you're looking for. And the "v6 with the triangle tail lights" is a 98-02 Coupe (LX or EX).

Yup

Go with that or any 94-97 accord. I think the 94-97 accords are nice realiable cars that have alot of potential for modding (swaps,etc....). With $8k you should be able to pick up a 97 accord sedan with about 60-70k miles in excellent condition and some play money to spare.

I'm personally not a fan of the 98-02 Accords at all. I'd get a well-maintained 5th gen with relatively low miles. I got a '94 EX with leather about 6 months ago and have been very happy with it so far.
