6th gen camber issues.
anyone on here with an eibach prokit or neuspeed sport springs on their 6th gen accord, running with oem alignment specs and no camber kit?? how long are your tires lasting?? i was told that a camber kit is not needed on my accord because bad toe adjustment kills tires not camber. I know that lowering the car widens the suspension causing more camber and toe and adjusting the toe back will straighten the wheel and cause it to hug the road. I've had a civic lowered in the past without a camber kit and it wore the tires out on the insides within 5-7k miles. anybody have useful info.??????
camber can also kill tires.
after lowering, an alignment shop should tell you if youre still in spec or not.
if youre in spec, then your tires should last. if not, you'll need a kit.
most lowered 6th gens ive come across on this board have needed a kit for at least one side, if not both front and back.

I have prokits...
The tire wear wasn't bad, but given the price of good tires and the relative inexpense of a camber kit I added one to the rear, the part that needs it.
I've used both the SPC/Eibach and Ingalls kits. The ingalls is a better kit pay the few bucks more if you plan to purchase a camber kit and go with the ingalls.
If you can manage to get a good deal on tires go for it. Your tires should last 30k mi not issues with the lack of a camber kit. Wear should be less if you are using OEM rims/tires. It's the wider offset / wider rims that wear more.
