The tire wear wasn't bad, but given the price of good tires and the relative inexpense of a camber kit I added one to the rear, the part that needs it.

I've used both the SPC/Eibach and Ingalls kits. The ingalls is a better kit pay the few bucks more if you plan to purchase a camber kit and go with the ingalls.

If you can manage to get a good deal on tires go for it. Your tires should last 30k mi not issues with the lack of a camber kit. Wear should be less if you are using OEM rims/tires. It's the wider offset / wider rims that wear more.
