Oil change.
The person I know added some kind of oil (non Honda ATF) in a transmission.
Now oil should be replaced.
That person definitely can't drain and fill it himself.
Do dealerships replace oil without power flush?

i dont really follow what u wrote. u r asking about a transmission fluid change? there r 2 forms of service. u can ask for just the transmission fluid change. that would remove 1/3 of the current fluid by draining it out, leaving what is in the torque converter alone. the other hooks the lines up to a machine and removes all of the fluid known as a flush. u can choose either one. the latter is more expensive.
there is a debate about using just honda transmission fluid. i did use only honda tranny fluid had my tranny serviced on time at a dealer, flushed the last time and the tranny went out in less then 2 wks. i now have non honda fluid with a conditioner in it. have changed it 1x with no problems at all with the used tranny i had installed in jan 05.

A see my question wasn't clear, sorry.
Here is the story
My friend checked tranny oil level with engine running (mistake #1) and found low level on dipstick.
After that he decided to add some oil and put a non Honda brand (mistake #2).
Now tranny is over filled with non-Honda oil.
If that would be my car I would drain and filled it tree times.
The problem is if that guy will take it to a dealer and tell them this story they will tell him to power flush it. If he refuses it, a single drain and fill will not replace all fluid that is in that tranny.
What is the best way for him to fix this problem?
Would that be fine if he just remove extra amount of oil?

YES YOU HAVE TO USE HONDA ATF!!! (well at least on the 6th gens and up. (i cant remember at the moment.) itll say in your owner's manual.)
the dealer wont (edit: is not supposed to) powerflush the tranny fluid. They will drain/fill it 3 times, driving around for a few minutes in between each fill.
you/he can try going to a non honda shop and tell them to drain/fill 3 times..... but they may not have Honda atf in stock.

Are you sure they will do it three times? If yes it solves the problem.
