Default Master Cylinder/Booster Leak

About a week and a half ago I installed new rear wheel cylinders and brake shoes on my 91 Accord LX. After doing so I went ahead and flushed/bled the brake fluid at all 4 wheels and replaced the fluid with DOT 3/4 compatible synthetic fluid. Now the my problem.....when I went out to get in the car on Saturday I noticed a large puddle on the ground under the car. To my surprise I now have a leak between my master cylinder and brake booster.

Is this a common problem? Is there a seal that goes bad between the two? Does anyone know of any fluid compatibily issues with the older braking systems? Any advice would be appreciated.

if you pushed the pedal all the way down while bleeding the system then what happened is the rod usally doesn't travel that far down normally and rust and crap froms there when beeding the brakes with old master cylinder do not go past half way or rust and crap ruins the seal.
