No built race car, just to keep the thought out of the back of my mind. I'd like to not have to think of it.
I don't want that lingering in my mind with an 8lb flywheel spinning at 6k RPM every once and a while.

I'd rather save my interior/dash/firewall to some extent than nothing at all.

people have 7lb flywheels spinning to 9k+ with no problems. just get a quality sfi certified flywheel like act or findanza and you wont have to worry.
