Default Aftermarket Power Locks for 2004 DX

Does anybody know if an aftermarket kit exists that works with the 2004 Honda Accord DX?

I was looking at the central locking kit for cable actuated door locks from http://www.a1electric.com/ but after seeing how short cable on the passenger door is I question if that kit can be installed successfully.

Here is a guide how the cable kit is supposed to be installed: http://www.a1electric.com/cablelock.htm

Here are some picture of my passenger door that show how short the cable is. I don't see how a sucessful installation would work on this door. For one the cable is quite short and not in a straight line and then there is probably not much clearance between it and the door panel. (click on image to view larger size)

I'd appreciate hints, tips, and stories of failures. Of course success stories are what I'm hoping for.

Because the doors are totally different. My door handle stick out while the LX/EX are flush with the door.

Correction: I guess they do have the same handle style. Not sure why I had in mind that they are different. Anybody has any picture or info about the LX/EX power lock mechanism?

No, the DX don't have power locks or cruise control. They do have power windows.

With the 2006 models they got rid of the DX. Instead there is the "Value Pack" which does have power locks and cruise control.

What was honda thinking. It would be cost effective to make everything the same, and they wouldnt have to produce different parts. Ugh.... I figured the LX/EX would swap out with the DX.....

yes just use a universal one but yor going to have to be creative installing them or just get the Lx motor it should bolt on the latch and put your own lock switch.
