I have noticed the last couple days that when I leave to work in the morning, my car shudders when in first gear. It only happens in first and only that first time I pull out. Why the f*ck does it do that? When I say shudder, this is what I mean. You know how when you burn out straight ahead from a stop and you get that mean wheel hop? It's similar to that.

 

If it just shudders in first and only once, try letting your car warm up cause if it is cold, that might be a problem.

 

yeah, I tried that today and it didn't do it. I guess i just have to keep doing that to avoid the hop.

 

I had that a while ago.
try pressing the gas pedal a few times (while stationary) after u start the car.
I worked with me...

 

I just let the car warm up a little bit more than I used to, no more shuddering.
