Default this is a tough one

i would say silverstars, but they do blow out more often but i guess it all depends b/c i have had the same pair of h1 sliverstars as my headlights(aftermarket projections), for about a year before they went out, i also own a 2005 new jetta and i am one my second pair inside of 6 months, but i am also wondering what a piaa will look like @ $90 a pair it better be damm good !

Silverstars aren't as bright as everyone makes them out to be. I had a pair in my old Civic and I wasn't all that impressed at all.

Yeah but how much do you drive? I put on 10k miles, lots of them at night, over a span of 3 months about a year and a half ago and they blew during 2 months of that.

You could allways do a 9005 Conversion, granted you have the correct headlights. It's a significant jump in light output, and you wouldn't be fooling with cheapo silverstars.

dont spend the $40 or whatever it is for silverstars...complete waste of money and their lifespan is horribly short!!! i picked up some lights for like 3 bucks a piece and i am going on having them for 2 years now.

check it.....http://autolumination.com/headlights.htm

Yeah but if you drive for sustained periods of time the 9005 bulb will deform. It happened to me. Looked like the bulbs had tumors on them.
