Hi, I just purchased a 1999 Honda Accord LX and it came without a keyless entry remote.
So I went ahead and bought one. But now that I was trying to install it, it just wont work regardless of how many times ive repeated the steps on the instruction.

Can you tell me if this model never had a fob or what could the problem be??

Are you sure it had Keyless to begin with?? It was an option on the LX, not standard.

 

LX didnt come with keyless.

 

the programming steps are for if you already had keyless entry in your car and just wanna program a new remote.
