yeah, u would think that red brake light, lit up, would be a clue. i dont think it hurts any to drive in reverse with the e brake on i could be wrong, but the car shouldnt be able to move forward if the e brake is on and adjusted correctly. e brakes r very easy to come out of adjustment. doesnt take much. some cars automatically adjust when u drive in reverse, apply the brake and repeat. then put the car in forward but i dont think hondas do this.

a friend of mine had a 5spd manual, grand am. drum rear brakes.. his e brake and rear brakes would go out of adjustment all of the time. with hondas i dont think our cars use the rears that much anyway. i have drums on my rear. being out of adjustment may be more noticeable with rear rotors. i still have the original shoes on my rears. just had them cleaned and the e brake adjusted.

ebrakes tend to get frozen in the winter. i see vans rolling around with frozen e brakes. u would think u could feel it.

 

thx everyone for the replyy, but yah sometimes I dont notice the e-brake light on T__T but o well and yah for some reason my car can still move with the e-brake on, even after I adject it.. weird.. oh and my back are drums to
