I just got an '88 accord DX the other day for $300. I need a CV joint, and only a few smaller things to make her rip. One thing is when idling, if you apply the breaks the engine rev's sloooowwww down and the car spudders. Is this a vaccume leak? AAnnndddd, any people know of any good web-sites to go the "rally" direction? I want maybe some spring spacers, longer A Arms, and some rally tires. Any other info on the older accords you have would definatly be appreciated. Thanks for your time!

 

i think the brake thing sounds like a vacuum line problem...i dont really know thats just what people have told me. my car does the opposite, at idle ill press the brake pedal in and then let off completely and the engine will rev aboot 500rpm, and then go back to normal in a few seconds.
