i just purchased a 1985 honda accord for $200 becuase the timing belt is gone and needs to be changed. but i was told that once the timing belt is gone that it probably bent some of the valves so i was thinking instead of fixing the valve and timing belt problem i was rather thinking of purchasing another engine. what would be the bigger size of engine that could go into this car. the is currently carburated but i was thinking in getting a v-tech engine and dropping it to the car. any ideas of what engine could got into this car. the price of the engine is not a problem i just want to know whats the biggest engine this car can handle. please help i'm trying todo this engine swap this week.

 

WOW and 85 honda accord nice. I think your eng is a A18A or A20A. If it and A18A the A20A would be an upgrade for the car. The not much High end eng for that year. But if you can Look up more I think you might or can put a B20A And that would be a big inprovement.
