If you totaled an Accord, you're not ready for RWD.
The 240SX came with, what many call, a noisy truck motor. Although, they have a cast iron block that can handle trmendous amount of boost without so much as an afterthought.
The 240SX came with the KA24DE which was DOHC, at least the S14 did. I believe the S13 came with the KA24E which was SOHC. I've never heard of a VVT head swap on the SR motors. The SR20 was an all aluminum block, couldn't take quite as much abuse.

I've known several shops here in AZ as well as friends that have done this swap... I thought it was common among nissan people :dunno: I don't know much about nissans so I never looked deeper into it
