whats the advantage of the 240 over the lude besides rear wheel drive. i know honda has vtec does the 240sx have anything like that? where i can put like a vtec controller on a honda vtec engine is there something for the nissan engine. and i know the prelude is faster so why the 240? besides price and rear wheel drive.

 

The 240's don't have VVT.....Just like you stated the big advantage is rear--wheel drive...I don't know too much about Nissan's so maybe someone else can help you.

 

The Nissan did have a form of Variable Valve Timing... I can't recall which engine it came in though :thinking: I know this because I know a couple of shops as well as friends that have put the Nissan VVT head on their older SR20s...

Anyway... I'd get the 240 if i wanted to get seriously into the mods...
But if i just wanted something nice in between, it would be the Lude... (my favorite, and more my style outta the options)
The 00,01 Accord would be my last pick....

so if you took the best 240 and the best lude stock which would be faster? and after putting 2 or 3000 dollers into it what would be faster. oh yeah and for this price range on buying a car other than the lude and the 240, are there any other cars that anyone would suggest buying that would be better than these?

One more vote for the 'Lude. If you're like me, and get sentimental about your cars, either that or the AV6 coupe will probably be comforting to you.
