Daughter has a 99 Accord. She came over the other day and the squeal tab on the front brakes was sounding off. Put new pads on, and now the pedal sinks almost to the floor before the brakes grab. I had cracked open the bleeder when I backed the piston up on each caliper, so I went ahead and bled the brakes. Pedal still goes almost all the way down. And it doesn't pump up if you pump it 3 or 4 times like it would if the MC was leaking. Also, while bleeding the brakes a second time, I noticed that there's not as much fluid coming out of the lines when I open them. Not as much as on most cars anyway. Any ideas?

 

sounds like you still got air in the system. try bleeding it again with a second person.

 

you might be low on brake fluid :dunno:
