Can someone please tell me what the specs are on the 2.2L vtec motor from the '94-'97 Accords? I haven't been able to find it. :hs:
Carpoint said it has a factory turbo. :rick:

'96 4dr LX is a great ride for what it is. Don't wory about the pokey performance. If you want to beef it up a little, and intake/header/exhaust will do you fine. That, or if you really don't like not having VTEC, H22a's are a pretty cost-effective swap these days.
What kind of performance gain could I expect with I/H/E in the 96 LX? At the moment I'm planning on an AEM short ram intake, and 4-2-1 headers designed for lower-RPM gains. No idea on exhaust yet.
Short ram will be good on that car, although you might want to just bite the bullet and get a cold air - they are ridiculously easy to install on a 5th gen.
From the intake, you can probably only expect 1-2 actual HP, although it will "feel" like a lot more due tot he nice sound and added punch at higher revs.
Supposedly (though I can't say for sure, as I never had them on mine), headers give pretty impressive gains on F and H series motors... I've heard people claim 10-15 HP, but I'd venture to guess it's really more like 4-5 MAX...if that. As a general rule of thumb, "mental horsepower" is about three times the actual gain. Gotta remember that.
