Default Need a little help guys.

The dealer is working on it, but I thought I'd ask if anyone has had this issue.

Son #2's EX-V6 6-Spd was purchased new in the spring. At idle, it vibrates. You can see the steering wheel shake, and feel it in the shifter. It's very anoying at stop lights, etc.

My 2006 EX V6 NAV that does not idle like this.

The dealer says yes, there is a problem, but cannot figure it out. Almost seems like something is out of balance in the engine. Car is smooth off idle.

Anyone ever heard of this? No codes are being thrown. They checked
valve adjustment and changed some Map sensor. No change in the problem.

Son is moving away in a few weeks and we really need to get it resolved before then.

Any help is appreciated!

Well, the dealer said they have it fixed. It ws the first thing I told them, it felt like the flywheel was inbalanced. They replaced the motor mounts first, no joy, then the flywheel.

We'll see when I pick it up tomorrow.

Geez, never did follow up on this.

It was in fact a bad flywheel. New flywheel and she idles like the engine isn't even running!
