gas mileage ?

Default gas mileage ?

i got a 99 honda accord stock with 122,000 miles. i get about 17 or 18 mpg with normal driving. is this normal and if its supposed to be higher, how can i increase gas mileage.

It should be much better...I only really measure when I go on road trips, but I get about 28-29mpg when doing a lot of highway miles.

Yea i get 27.6 mpg in city driving since I live in the suburbs of chicago and mines a 94 accord with 200,000 miles on it. No joke. Try checking/changing the easy things first:
Oil
Air Filter
Spark Plugs

i changed the air filter, spark plugs, and the wires and there was no change. would changing the fuel filter help?
