I've had a really good hunch that gas stations are diluting their gas, maybe it's always been going on, but i'm getting about 300 miles/TANK in my 94 accord lx 5-sp

 

I got a 94 ex auto and i get like 268, pretty crappy eh? It all depends on how you drive, half of my tank is useually grandma and the other is to the floor or in a low gear.

 

350 ish 50/50 highway and local

 

For city, I usually get 350... but, our accords have 17gal tanks, and I usually fill up before the needle hits E, and the most I have ever filled it was 13 gal.

I really want to run it to empty, because if I get 350, and there is still 4gal left, I can still go another 100+ miles.

For highway, usually 4/450.

 

I usally get about 420 on a tank without the light coming on mostly freeway driveing but haven't pushed it further

my 97 accord only get about 250 a tank 50/50 local highway. my gas light has never been on since i got it and i usually fill up about 13.5 gallons once it hits the E line. Maybe my gas light is messed up if my accord tank hold 17 gallons but im on E after 13.5 gallons?
Wonder how many miles I would get if the light went off?

 

I get 24-26mpg, so considering our cars have 17 gal tanks, that's 400 to 445 miles. I don't usually run mine much below 1/4. I fill up once per week and that's around 350 to 400 miles 50/50 mix driving.

they r putting more alcohol in the gas to get the octane up. the more alcohol in the gas the faster it burns. sneaky but legal i guess.

 

I usually drive 3/4 highway everyweek and get 30 MPG from about 450 miles with a couple gallons left. My record is 509 miles on one tank with one gallon left with just highway driving.

 

hey one quick question here... the manual says a 17 gallon tank is on my 94 accord ex... i run that thing below E, fill it up, and it will only take up to 13 or 14 gallons. Wheres the other 3 or 4?
