True, you didn't say they weren't made there, but you made it sound as if the H&R's being made in Germany was one of the deciding factors in you choosing them over the Neuspeeds, my bad. I chose the Neuspeeds because of the price, the drop they give(lowers a 1/4" more up front than in the back) and they are an established maker of high quality lowering springs. I've had H&R's and I didn't have any complaints about them, I just want to try something different. Most places seem to sell the H&R's for a little bit more than the Neuspeeds but that makes me no difference because I got my set for $115 shipped and I know for a fact that no online retailer can beat that.

no when you remove the struts and fiddle with suspension stuff your alignment goes off. Of course you cant fix the camber, but the toe will go off and it will eat the tires

I lowered my 4th gen civic w/H&R race coils and tokico blues and rode on it for about 3-4 months (before some sorry bastards stole it and stripped it:madfawk: ) and didn't get it aligned and didn't have any problems except the accelerated inside tire wear from the camber up front. Considering the drop w/Neuspeed sports is much less agressive that the drop w/H&R race coils, I think I'll be alright for the few months I will have to go without aftermarket shocks and no alignment. But when I replace the shocks, I will get it aligned.

on GBC, both HRs and Neuspeeds are gonna be $145 shipped for me. so i'm still having trouble to decide. don't they both drop the same amount? I just want to buy the "right" one for ME, in terms of ride and comfort and height. so i'm just reading lots of reviews and seeing what people had to say about their springs.

you can't go wrong with either. Only reason I chose the Neuspeeds is to try something different, I've already had H&R's. They both lower the same, if you get the sport springs.

with race springs it's always gonna be stiff(ie bumpy if you're not used to them). i just felt that the neuspeed springs held better in a corner. this was probably due to the difference in shocks as well, but i'm happy with my neuspped springs.

I have neuspeed sports on my 98 accord.
I love them......they drop to exactly what they are supposed to drop to....they'll settle more after awhile though. My bf has them on his Lude '00 since 2 years ago and he still has his stock shocks. My advice to you is to get them installed at a place. It's safer and not a hassle, unless you have a good spring compressor. Just my $.02
