My 2004 TSX was in an accident with no suspension damage or damage to the unibody structure. I drove the car for two month with no problem. But now the whole front end of my car vibrates when I accelerate hard between 40-120km/h. I replaced the rear motor mount, had the drive shaft checked, balanced and rotated all tires.

Any one have any ideas?

hmm ok they fixed it but where was the accident?...front/rear/side???

The right quarter panel, mirror and head light was replaced. The bumper was repainted.

Take it back. Was it an insurance job?? Both the insurance company and the Acura Body Shop should warranty the work.

One thing you can try doing is putting the car in drive while the ebrake is on.
Have a friend look at the engine and see if it shifts around when you gently press the gas peddle. If the engine has alot of play chances are one of your motor mounts is the problem.

are the wheels balanced ?

yea he said he had the wheel balanced and that didn't fix the problem.....but yea might be a motor mount like ROMEO said, dependin on hard how hard you hit whatever you hit......like they guys said take it back to acura they're usually good with stuff like that, the dealer around my way are really nice when i had my teg problems, the mechanic would actually come out the bay and sit with me 1 on 1 and even take me to the bay and show me the problems.......take it there and see what they say, better off then driving the way it is and cause further damage

I just find it odd that if the problem is the front mount, they didnt look at it when they fixed your front end.

Hi All

After having the dealer look at my car, they found that the timing chain has jumped a tooth. Is it possible that the vibration is caused by the timing chain jumping a tooth.
Also could that have caused by the accident.
Any suggestions
